Dr Tammy McNair

As an introduction, my name is Dr Tammy (Talbot) McNair, an Onderstepoort graduate originally from Kwa-Zulu Natal, in South Africa. I am currently one of the Surgical Veterinarians at Brighton Veterinary Clinic.

My passions within the veterinary industry have always been centered around small animal surgery, South African Wildlife (with a developing interest in Australian native wildlife) and equine reproduction.

With13 years practice as a veterinarian, my high level organizational experience is that of Veterinary Director managing a clinic for a national based organization as well as owning and managing my own veterinary practices. My key veterinary experience relates to performing complex surgeries in line with my educational advancements and performing day to day Veterinary care in the realms of small, large and exotic animals, both locally to WA and previously Internationally in Southern Africa.

When I am not spending time with the 4-legged patients (generally), my time is focused on the fresh air of the outdoors with my family, and the many extramural activities of my 3 children.
